Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrustYourData website, APIs, software development kits (SDKs), command-line tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by TrustYourData ("TrustYourData", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

TrustYourData provides tools for analyzing datasets and generating reports that assess dataset readiness for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and related analytical workflows.

The Service may include:

  • dataset analysis tools;
  • readiness scoring;
  • diagnostic reports;
  • remediation suggestions;
  • APIs, software development kits (SDKs), command-line interfaces (CLI), and other developer tools.

The Service may be offered in beta or experimental form.

2. Accounts

Some features of the Service may require account registration.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete information;
  • maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials;
  • notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • submit data that you do not have the legal right to use or process;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms of the Service;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to circumvent usage limits or technical protections;
  • use the Service to process data in a way that violates privacy, security, or intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Service if we detect abuse, misuse, or security risks.

4. User Data and Responsibilities

You may submit datasets or related data ("User Data") to the Service for analysis.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal basis to submit the User Data;
  • your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws;
  • your User Data does not infringe the rights of any third party.

TrustYourData does not review datasets for legal compliance and is not responsible for the content of User Data.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all datasets and other content that you submit to the Service.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of User Data to TrustYourData.

You grant TrustYourData a limited right to process User Data solely for the purpose of operating the Service and generating analysis results.

6. Analysis Results and Limitations

The Service generates automated dataset analysis reports and readiness scores.

These outputs are provided for informational and research purposes only.

TrustYourData does not guarantee:

  • model performance;
  • regulatory compliance;
  • production suitability;
  • absence of data quality issues;
  • completeness of findings.

Dataset readiness scores, findings, and remediation suggestions are automated analytical outputs and should not be interpreted as professional, legal, or engineering advice.

Users should not rely solely on the outputs of the Service when making technical, operational, or regulatory decisions. Independent validation, testing, and review of datasets, as well as evaluation of model behavior, remain the responsibility of the user before deploying AI or machine learning systems.

7. Beta Services

Some features of the Service may be provided in beta, preview, or experimental form.

Beta services:

  • may contain errors or incomplete functionality;
  • may change without notice;
  • may be discontinued at any time.

TrustYourData makes no guarantees regarding the stability or availability of beta features.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • maintenance;
  • infrastructure issues;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party service failures.

TrustYourData is not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the TrustYourData platform, software, algorithms, APIs, SDKs, developer tools, documentation, branding, and related materials remain the property of TrustYourData or its licensors.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:

  • copy;
  • distribute;
  • modify;
  • create derivative works;
  • resell or sublicense

any part of the Service.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustYourData shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • loss of profits;
  • loss of data;
  • business interruption;
  • model performance failures;
  • incorrect or incomplete analysis results.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • we detect abuse or misuse of the Service;
  • continued access creates security or legal risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, we may provide notice via email or through the website.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which TrustYourData operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
